This week’s podcast focuses on the vocabulary you’ll need to speak confidently about the environment. I also look at the ways in which Ireland is tackling (or not tackling…) the climate crisis.

The environment is an unavoidable topic these days. Between the latest succession of heatwaves in Europe, more frequent and violent hurricanes in the Americas and the Amazon wildfires, everyone these days has something to say about the environment and climate change.

It’s also a very popular topic for English language exams so if you’re preparing for any type of ESL exam the environment is sure to pop up somewhere.

Make sure to download the PDF guide with the transcript, vocabulary explanations, extra vocabulary and tips on how to discuss facts and figures in English. This will help you improve your English listening skills and boost your vocabulary so I really recommend it.
